Amazon Expands Retail Presence with New Bookstore in Los Angeles
Century City Location to Offer Immersive Book Browsing Experience
Westfield Century City Mall Welcomes Amazon Books' 12th Store
Amazon is expanding its physical retail presence with the addition of a new Amazon Books store in the Westfield Century City Mall in Los Angeles. The 5,227-square-foot store will mark Amazon's 12th brick-and-mortar bookstore and will join a growing number of such locations planned by the online retail giant in various cities.
The Century City Amazon Books store will offer customers an immersive book browsing experience. Shoppers will be able to peruse a curated selection of books chosen by Amazon's editors, as well as discover new and popular titles through interactive displays and recommendations. The store will also feature a comfortable seating area where customers can relax and read while enjoying refreshments from the on-site café.
"We're excited to bring the Amazon Books experience to the vibrant Los Angeles community," said Vasu Kulkarni, Director of Amazon Books. "Our store is designed to be a welcoming and inspiring place where people can discover their next favorite read or connect with fellow book lovers."
